Job summary

A warm and busy family in Irving is seeking a kind, dependable, proactive, and engaging nanny for their two children, a 3-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy. Start ASAP with a split schedule Monday-Friday, 6:00-8:00 AM and 2:30-7:30 PM, 35 guaranteed hours per week at $27/hour.

Responsibilities include morning drop-off, afternoon/evening care, simple meals, and age-appropriate activities. Long-term commitment and open communication are highly valued by the family.

Qualifications

• 2+ years childcare/nanny experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable driving children to and from school; English-speaking; second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging care for two young children.
• Morning preparation and school drop-off.
• School pick-up and afternoon/evening care.
• Prepare simple meals for the children.
• Assist with showers and bedtime.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities.
• Take children to the park and engage in active play.
• Maintain open and consistent communication with parents.
• Take initiative and help keep the children's routines running smoothly.
