Job summary

RELIVE Health Warren and Florham Park in New Jersey seeks a registered nurse to administer IV vitamin therapy, perform venipuncture, manage infusions, and monitor patients throughout treatment.

You will liaise with admin and medical staff, maintain sterile technique, update records in EHR, and help ensure safe, compassionate care within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN or ASN from an accredited program; IV infusion experience desirable.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV Vitamin Therapy, and shots to patients.
• Performed venepuncture, accessed implanted ports, maintained peripheral IV lines
• Perform infusions and monitor patient's status throughout the entire infusion as well as manage emergency reactions.
• Perform blood draws as per the required instructions provided by the lab.
• Follow state and nursing guidelines and standards
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by applying principles of medical asepsis and infection control techniques and universal precautions
• Liaise with admin and other medical team members pre and post-therapy and participate in shared decision making
• Accurately use the online booking systems
• Assist with callbacks to patients with questions.
• Provided documentation to the Admin team for submission to EHR
• Prepare and track inventory to maintain 100% in stock of supplies and Vitamin therapy.
• Maintains up-to-date Nurse education including knowledge of the internet for IV Infusion
• Completes other tasks within the scope of the registered nurse.

Qualifications

• BA of science in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program. Previous experience in IV Infusion is desirable. Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Critical thinking, compassionate, non-judgmental, with attention to detail, and organized. Calm under pressure and ability to work unsupervised.
• Needs to be a patient listener, a good communicator, and demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources
• Client confidentiality and discretion are essential.
