Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a motivated student to join our Credit & Collections support team in a summer internship. You will gather and document business requirements, support design workshops, and maintain traceability of current and future state processes.

You will analyze data, prepare reports, and collaborate with subject-matter experts during a large-scale enterprise transformation. This hybrid role requires on-site commuting in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Current student, Sophomore or higher
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Project Management
• Minimal travel for this role (10-15%)
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week)
• Able to commute to the designated work location in-person, per the hybrid work policy
• Coursework or projects involving business process analysis, requirements gathering, or data analysis
• Interest in the energy / utility industry or large-scale technology transformation
• Familiarity with process mapping, flowcharting, or business analysis concepts
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or other collaboration tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple tasks, and follow through in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and organize business requirements for Credit & Collections processes and system capabilities
• Support requirements and design workshops by preparing materials and capturing notes, decisions, and action items
• Document current-state and proposed future-state processes and maintain requirements traceability
• Compile and summarize data for analysis, decision-making, and status reporting
• Coordinate with business subject-matter experts, functional consultants, and other towers to clarify open questions
• Support testing activities by documenting test scenarios and tracking results
• Build business analysis and utility-industry domain knowledge during a large-scale enterprise transformation
