Job summary

ENFRA in Charlotte, NC seeks an Energy Systems Analyst to assess building mechanical and electrical systems through on-site surveys and office analysis on assigned projects. Analysis will include energy efficient scope and deferred maintenance development.

Responsibilities include energy modeling collaboration, site investigations, and coordination with design teams; 25-40% travel is expected. A BS in Engineering with 1–3 years’ experience and strong Excel/Word skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Experience with Excel and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry knowledge of energy sector and competitors.

Responsibilities

• Assists in producing projects on-time and within budget per standards and client specs.
• Conducts site surveys with senior staff to determine facility conditions and scope.
• Performs mechanical system calculations including load calculations and ventilation schedules.
• Reviews designs and drawings for mechanical systems with guidance from senior staff.
• Coordinates with energy modeling, financial modeling, lighting, and design teams.
