Job summary

Talent Search Pro in West Virginia seeks an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to partner with Energy Supply clients and IT teams, translating requirements into functional specs and configuring enterprise systems such as Oracle Primavera P6 and Unifier. You will lead testing, support Agile/Scrum processes, and drive data-driven improvements across integrations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partner with Energy Supply business clients and IT teams to define requirements, objectives, and system solutions.
• Translate business processes into functional specs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Configure, implement, maintain, and support COTS apps such as Primavera P6, Unifier, eSOMS, and Pandell.
• Support all phases of system implementation: configuration, installation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop and maintain configuration settings, system docs, and technical artifacts.
• Collaborate to evaluate enhancements, identify improvements, and recommend solutions.
• Create test strategies, scenarios, and data to validate functionality and requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing with Worksoft.
• Participate in backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery in Agile/Scrum.
• Monitor projects with risk, issue, change, and governance processes.
• Perform data analysis, mapping, reconciliation, and reporting for ops and integrations.
• Support integration between enterprise apps and related systems.
• Develop presentations and leadership communications on status and outcomes.
• Use Lean principles and metrics to ensure solutions deliver ROI.

Duties

• Partner with Energy Supply business clients and Information Technology teams to identify, define, and document business requirements, objectives, and system solutions.

• Configure, implement, maintain, and support Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications including Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Hitachi Energy eSOMS, Pandell Land Property Management, and other enterprise systems.
• Support all phases of system implementation, including configuration, installation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Develop and maintain application configuration settings, system documentation, process documentation, and technical artifacts.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to evaluate system enhancements, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend technology solutions.
• Create test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and test data to validate system functionality and business requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing activities, including implementation and maintenance of automated testing solutions using Worksoft.
• Support Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies by participating in backlog management, sprint planning, user story refinement, and solution delivery activities.
• Monitor and manage project and support activities through adherence to risk, issue, change request, defect tracking, and governance processes.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting activities to support business operations and system integrations.
• Support integration efforts between enterprise applications and related business systems.
• Develop presentations, reports, and leadership communications regarding project status, system capabilities, and business outcomes.
• Utilize Lean principles, reporting metrics, and business case analysis to help ensure technology solutions deliver measurable business value and return on investment.
• Provide end-user support, training, and knowledge transfer for supported software applications and field technology solutions.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools to improve efficiency, documentation quality, and delivery effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology, Business Systems Analysis, Application Support, or related technical disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or similar enterprise project and construction management software platforms.
• Strong experience gathering business requirements and developing functional documentation.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application configuration, implementation, and support processes.
