Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the project execution team on scheduling, cost control, quantity tracking, procurement, client satisfaction, and daily site needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Owner, Engineer and Subcontractors; manage contract impacts with the Prime.
• Provide timely reporting on cost forecasting and estimate at completion.
• Oversee project billings and maximize cash flow; monitor aged receivables.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owner for timely resolution.
• Lead routine project update meetings with client and internal stakeholders.
• Identify needs, develop scopes of work, and hire appropriate third parties.
• Coordinate with material suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply-chain issues.
• Review contract conditions for compliance and document significant events.
• Manage project risk with mitigation plans; liaise with management.
• Ensure jobsite IT/networking services are set up.
• Enforce SOLV safety standards and policies; promote company values.

Job Description Summary:

TheEnergy Storage ProjectManager willprovide leadershipand oversighttoan individualproject.They willcollaborate with multiple departments in planning, organizing, and directing the project work across our team, including engineering, scheduling, change management, budgeting, and closeout project documentation.

This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Farmington, NM and will require travel. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work with theprojectexecutionteam to understand multiple work disciplines along with being a leader in scheduling, cost control, quantity tracking, procurement, client satisfaction, daily jobsite needs, and work activities
• Develop andmaintaingood relationship with Owner,Engineer,and Subcontractors; develop strategies and skills to build a strong partnership with the Owner, while still ensuring prompt owner notification of impacts and preservation of rights per the Prime Contract
• Maintaintimelyandaccuratereporting to management, particularlywith regard tocost forecasting and estimated cost at completion.
• Oversee preparation of project billings;seekto maximize cash flow in and reduce pay cycles through diligent & strategic billing preparation.Prioritize the collection of aged receivables and review their status regularly in Owner meetings and conversations.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owner fortimelyresolution.
• Coordinate, lead, and document routine project update meetings with client and internal stakeholdersregardingthe status and progress of the work
• Coordinate with theprojectteam toidentifyneeds, develop scopes of work, and hireappropriate thirdparties to execute the work
• Extensive coordination with material suppliers to ensuretimelydeliveries and to develop solutions to logistical andsupply-chainchallenges.
• Review contract conditions; ensure compliance with all contract terms
• Supervise documentation of all significant project events, e.g., accidents, delays, Change Orders
• Effectively manage project risk; evaluate probability and severity of risk events as they are identified /anticipatedand prepare mitigation plans with project team andsenior management
• Ensure jobsite office networking services are set-up (copiers/printers/scanners, phone lines, etc.)
• Enforce and promote a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing SOLV standards and OSHA policies,proceduresand guidelines
• Assistthe site management team in displaying and promoting the company values, tenets and culture whilerepresenting the company in a professional manner

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements

• Minimum5years of work-related experience in design and/or constructionof utility scaleelectricalinfrastructureprojects.
• Direct relevant industry experience preferred, skilled with knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment and installation
• Leadership ability – able to pull together team members from diverse backgrounds in a remote environment and organize them into a cohesive, high-performing project team.
• Able to travel extensively (potentially more than50%) including lengthyjobsite-based assignments.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations
• Ability to work, analyze,troubleshootand prioritize problems independently
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiencyandknowledgeablein office practices,proceduresand equipment
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate
• P6 scheduling experience preferred
