Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a finance-minded SAP ERP Consultant to transform core accounting and finance operations on SAP S/4HANA ERP in the United States. You will blend deep knowledge of GL and sub-ledger processes with strong consulting and delivery skills, partnering across business and offshore teams to align priorities and drive enterprise value.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of functional experience in SAP Finance including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting or Product Costing.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Asset Accounting / Fixed Assets, including capitalization and depreciation.
• 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA or SAP Finance implementations in a delivery or configuration role.
• 3+ years of finance transformation consulting (process design, close optimization, CFO advisory).
• 1 year of experience serving Energy clients is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; if Associate’s Degree, 6+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs leveraging ERP and finance process expertise.
• Engage with CFO and controllers to translate needs into SAP S/4HANA Finance requirements.
• Contribute to roadmaps, business cases, and client presentations on finance solutions.
• Design and configure Finance end-to-end across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Product Costing.
• Analyze finance data and perform data cleansing, cutover readiness, and testing activities.
• Coordinate unit, SIT, and UAT testing, defect triage, and go-live hypercare.
• Collaborate across business, technology, testing, training, and offshore teams in a Global Delivery model.
• Coach junior team members and share SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise.
