Job summary

StoneX Group is seeking an Energy Risk Management Consultant to join the commercial energy team. This role focuses on developing client relationships with fuel distributors, propane marketers, refiners, and other energy users, helping them manage crude oil, diesel, gasoline, and propane price volatility.

The position requires establishing and expanding a book of business, educating clients on hedge opportunities, and facilitating risk management strategies with futures, swaps and options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of finance experience.
• Time management under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior interpersonal and relationship building to clients and stakeholders across levels.
• Effective presentation and marketing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, prospects and contacts potential clients to educate them on energy trading and risk management.
• Build a book of business consisting of consultancy program income as well as energy futures trade income.
• Analyzes individual client operations to determine market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks.
• Attends trade conferences, seminars and symposiums to represent products and increase contact with existing client base.
• Executes futures, options and swaps that support energy risk management strategies.
• Educate and inform customers of hedge opportunities.
