Job summary

Veolia North America Energy seeks a Project Structurer to develop accurate cost models and mobilization plans for long-term O&M contracts, including microgrids and energy storage. You will define scopes, carve-outs, and competitive fee structures while collaborating with developers and operations teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep O&M knowledge, strong financial modeling skills, and the ability to defend proposals before clients and leadership, with national travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with equivalent commercial experience.
• 10–15 years in energy or utilities operations and maintenance in industrial or mission-critical markets.
• Experience supporting service agreements, DBOO project delivery models, or PPPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, competitive cost models and staffing plans for long-term O&M contracts.
• Build benchmarks from existing portfolios to model wage rates and personnel availability.
• Model maintenance requirements and annual budgets, incl. SLAs and third-party services.
• Define project scopes with asset-based limits and LTSA interfaces; support make-vs-buy analyses.
• Assist engineering and capital teams in scoping and estimating projects.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for project execution.
• Collaborate with operations teams to develop mobilization plans and cost estimates.
