Job summary

Baker Hughes invites students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree to join the University Internships in Project Management for 2027. Interns will gain hands-on experience by assisting in project planning, maintaining documentation, and preparing status updates while learning HS&E practices and the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

Be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, STEM or business programs.
Maintain GPA ≥ 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have strong communication skills.
Be able to relocate for the internship (locations vary).
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones with project managers and teams.
Maintain project documentation including charters, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Identify potential project risks and help develop risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare regular project status reports for managers and stakeholders, highlighting progress and milestones.
Apply HS&E standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
