Job summary

CDM Smith's Infrastructure Services Group is seeking an Energy and Power Discipline Leader to drive growth in electrification, EVs, renewables, microgrids and battery tech for federal, state, municipal, transit, school and commercial clients nationwide.

You will lead concept development, strategy and deployment, mentor staff, and collaborate across practices to advance mobility space and grid modernization initiatives while delivering world-class solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; PE license.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct development of analysis and approaches for EV fleet adoption.
• Provide electrification and renewable energy advisory to nationwide clients.
• Educate internal leaders on policies and funding opportunities for electrification.
• Lead financial modeling, cost-benefit analyses, and incentives evaluation.
• Champion R&D initiatives in green electrification and renewable energy.
• Lead cross-functional teams on complex strategic efforts.
• Collaborate with researchers, vendors, and stakeholders,
• Lead webinars and promote discipline goals and initiatives.
• Support growth areas related to power for data centers and decarbonization.
