Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Planning Specialist to act as the SPOC for identifying, prioritizing, and assigning projects to the appropriate department. You will check, track, and follow up on spreadsheets for program work and support design, risk, and budgets across multiple projects.

You will interact with customers, manage schedules, and ensure designs meet SCE standards while adapting to changing priorities and field requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Electrical Utility Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Design, Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Line Construction, or Engineering discipline.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Completion of a Planner Utility Certification Program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares construction plans, drawings, and/or circuit maps; designs electrical distributions plans and provides cost estimates.
• Interacts with a diverse customer base to meet electrical design needs and deliver outcomes for customer and SCE.
• Manages multiple projects with project management principles and stays within timelines and budgets.
