Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Houston, TX, seeks a Data Analyst for Measurement and Custody Transfer to help ensure accuracy of volumes and data across pipelines. You will enter third-party data, analyze measurement information, and support reporting for financial reconciliation.

You will use Excel and Power BI, prepare monthly G/L reports, and collaborate with field ops and external partners to verify data integrity. A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years' analytical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, mathematics, CS or equivalent.
• 2–5 years analytical experience, preferably in gas transmission or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manual entry of 3rd party volumes and liquid quality data.
• Analyze imported and manual volumes, S&W, and liquid quality data to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain integrity of meter and volume information in the measurement system.
• Create, review, and distribute reports verifying measurement data accuracy.
• Provide loss/gain support for custody transfer in SOX-compliant processes.
• Coordinate with third-party interconnecting companies for data exchange.
• Prepare current/historical meter data for daily/monthly G/L verification.
• Prepare monthly G/L reports for Crude and Refined Products Pipelines.
• Meter factor trending with explanations for variances.
• API 60 trending by system/location for assigned assets.
• Reconcile tank tickets with SCADA/reporting data.
