Leidos Energy is seeking an Energy Market Analyst to join our North American power market consulting practice. You’ll support independent power producers and electric utilities with energy price forecasting, market analysis, asset valuation, and strategic advisory services.

You will develop market projections for assets and portfolios, conduct independent research, and contribute to innovative approaches for emerging issues in the North American energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field + 2+ years in energy economics.
• Strong knowledge of major US regional power markets.
• Experience with Aurora, ProMod, or similar market simulation models.
• Excellent Excel, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop asset and portfolio market projections and valuations.
• Conduct market research and analysis using Leidos tools and databases.
• Contribute to new approaches for evaluating North American energy issues.
