Job summary

Leidos, a Fortune 500 company, seeks Summer Interns to support our Energy and Infrastructure Consulting (EIC) Division in Denver. You will review and analyze data, perform engineering calculations, apply principles to solve problems, support reviews of contracts and permits, and gain exposure to modeling and software applications.

Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering or Science is required; Energy Engineering coursework is preferred.

Leidos, a Fortune 500 company, currently has openings for Summer Interns to support our Energy and Infrastructure Consulting (E&IC) Division. In our business, we apply technical, commercial, market, and environmental expertise to support the development and financing of capital-intensive energy assets and industrial projects. Our projects and areas of expertise include: conventional power generation; power generation from renewables such as onshore and offshore wind, solar, geothermal, and hydro; biofuels; power transmission; energy storage; carbon capture and sequestration; and hydrogen. We seek candidates interested in a career in the energy industry, the willingness to gain valuable experience and learn new skills, and the desire to be part of a team working in a fast-paced environment and making a difference in society.

It is expected the Summer Intern will:

• Review and analyze data and information

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's or Master’s degree program pursuing a degree in Engineering or Science.
• Experience and/or coursework in Energy Engineering preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and perform individual tasks.
• Ability to live in Denver area during the internship and commit to an in office experience.

Pay Range: Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
