Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services is seeking an Energy Engineer II to independently evaluate and execute reviews of energy efficiency projects, audits, analyses, and savings calculations. You will provide technical ownership, QA/QC, stakeholder support, process improvements, and guidance to junior engineers.

The role requires experience in energy modeling, cost-effectiveness analyses, and applying TRMs and utility program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience or an associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in energy savings calculations, analyses, energy audits, and QA/QC reviews.
• Strong knowledge of TRMs, utility program requirements, building systems, and applicable engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and validate energy savings calculations using approved methodologies and TRMs.
• Review project applications, analyses, calculations, and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare technical documentation, calculation summaries, findings, and recommendations.
• Independently manage projects and technical reviews to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on engineering best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory requirements, and program guidelines.
