Job summary

SitelogIQ, Inc. is seeking an Energy Engineer to support energy management for Moreno Valley Unified School District. You will analyze energy data, optimize building performance, and provide client support to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.

The role involves onsite engagement (75%) with some remote work 1–2 days per week, collaborating with facilities, maintenance, and project teams. A degree in engineering or related field is required, with 3–5 years of energy data experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience analyzing energy, utility, or facility performance data.
• HVAC controls/BAS experience required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency, utilities, or renewable energy.

Responsibilities

SitelogIQ is a rapidly growing energy and facility services company focused on making buildings better. We provide planning, design, and management solutions for organizations that want efficient and sustainable building environments that are healthier and safer for their occupants.

We are seeking an Energy Engineer to support our energy management program with Moreno Valley Unified School District. You’ll combine energy data analysis, building performance optimization, and client support to help improve energy efficiency, reduce utility costs, and support sustainability goals.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze utility usage, cost, demand, and renewable energy data
• Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, or related field

• Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
• Experience supporting K-12, municipal, or public-sector clients preferred

Location & Schedule

• Must live within 40 miles of Moreno Valley, CA
• Approximately 75% onsite with the customer
• Option to work remotely 1–2 days per week
