Job summary

DNREC seeks a Planner III to lead program management, research, policy analysis, and outreach for Delaware's Energy Efficiency Investment Fund. The role supports initiatives that promote energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

You will analyze state and regional energy efficiency policies, review grant applications, and coordinate planning activities across multiple levels of government, with a focus on delivering measurable energy savings.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience as a planner or in a planning function.
• Experience designing, collecting data, analyzing and presenting results of complex planning projects.
• Experience as a project manager/leader on complex projects.
• Valid driver's license required as condition of hire.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead program management, research, policy analysis, and outreach for Delaware's Energy Efficiency Investment Fund.
• Analyze state and regional energy efficiency policies.
• Review grant applications and manage federal programs such as the State Energy Program and High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Program.
• Coordinate planning activities across multiple levels of government.
