Southern California Edison invites you to join a 12-week summer internship focused on data analytics and applied math. You’ll work with mentors, tackle real-world energy challenges, and build your professional network in a hybrid work setting in California.

You'll gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, participate in intern events, and present your project at the Intern Expo. A pathway to future opportunities may exist.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Data Analytics, Data Science or Applied Math with a graduation date of December 2027 or later
• 2.8 GPA or higher

Responsibilities

• Work on real-world challenges within the utility/energy sector
• You’ll be paired with a mentor and work collaboratively to apply your knowledge, grow your skills and make an impact
• Build your professional network through intern events
• Work with cross functional teams on projects
• Ongoing support to grow personally and professionally
• Present in annual Intern Expo to showcase assigned internship project
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned within your field of study
• Demonstrate effective and open communication
