Job summary

DICED ENERGY SOLUTIONS is seeking a field energy auditor to visit homes across Orange and Sullivan Counties. You will perform comprehensive energy audits, test heating and cooling systems, and conduct blower door tests to evaluate air tightness.

You will inspect appliances, perform safety tests, and guide clients through audit findings and available project options. A valid license is required, with a preferred BPI certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• BPI Building Analyst Professional Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites throughout Orange & Sullivan County using company car.
• Conduct energy audits in clients' homes.
• Test heating and cooling systems and perform blower door tests to assess air tightness.
• Inspect electrical appliances and perform health and safety testing.
• Explain audit results and discuss project options with clients.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Driving throughout Orange & Sullivan County (Company Car)
• Conducting Energy Audits in client’s homes
• Testing of heating and cooling systems
• Blower door tests (tests air tightness of home)
• Inspection of electrical appliances
• Health and safety testing
• Guide clients through the entirety of their projects, answer their questions, inform them of the results from their audit, and discuss the options for their project.

Applicants must have:

• A valid driver’s license
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• A valid BPI Building Analyst Professional Certification (preferred)
• Be able to lift 50lbs
• Be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Experience:

• Energy Auditing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BPI Building Analyst Professional Certification (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
