Job summary

Chelsea Piers in New York is seeking Multi-Sport and Soccer Coaches to join the Field House Brooklyn team. You will coach recreational classes, school break camps, birthday parties, and special events with energy and encouragement for young athletes.

The ideal candidate has experience with children and a sports background; training in the Chelsea Piers Soccer curriculum is provided. Flexible weekend and weekday shifts are available, with a focus on safety and fun.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Background in competitive/travel soccer is helpful but not required.
• Training in the Chelsea Piers Soccer curriculum is provided.
• Ability to demonstrate drills and communicate skill levels within the curriculum.
• Willingness to teach multiple classes and events.

Responsibilities

• Be vocal and animated: bring energy and enthusiasm to each class you teach.
• Be punctual: set up teaching areas before classes and clean up after; start and end on time.
• Coach or teach all assigned weekday and weekend classes, camp programming, and birthday parties/events.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings as required throughout the season.
