Job summary

Typical shifts are on weekends and Friday evenings. The role offers hourly pay and opportunities to participate in diverse community events within the Parks & Recreation Department.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• One year related experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and AED certification within three months of employment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high energy for party environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Recreation staff with daily rental operations including birthday parties and events.
• Set up and tear down event spaces (tables, chairs, tents, decor, signage).
• Engage with guests, provide assistance, and participate in activities to ensure a memorable experience.
• Open/close designated areas of the Erie Community Center and Coal Creek Café as required.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work area and report inventory or facility issues.
