Job summary

Karman is seeking an Energetic Operations Technician I to support propellant manufacturing on the Cedar City, UT production line. You will mix chemicals, operate light machinery, and uphold strict quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include following procedures, reporting defects, and assisting with equipment operation as needed. Requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work fast paced, standing all day.
  • Ability to handle a flexible environment.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and maintain quality and safety procedures.
  • Basic math and arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 100 lbs.
  • Read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
  • Detect problems and report to supervisor or appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to operate independently and handle short‑term line operation when supervisor is absent.
  • Knowledge of light equipment operation and maintenance (training provided).

SUMMARY

The Energetics Operations Technician I supports production line operations by manufacturing propellant in accordance with established procedures and manufacturing worksheets. This position involves chemical mixing and handling, operating light machinery, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs line functions under direction of the Line Supervisor
