Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC. is seeking part-time coaches to lead classes at Bay Area elementary schools. Expect to teach one hour per session, 2–5 hours per week, with potential extra pre-care time. Sessions run Mon-Fri 1:00 PM–5:00 PM and focus on fun, energetic activities for ages 5–10.

Coaches are provided with lesson plans and equipment; reliable transportation is required, and candidates must be local and available for in-person work.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload on our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment provided by the company; coach should have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
