Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Fitness Trainer to lead the group fitness program and guide members on safe equipment use. You will create class schedules, conduct orientations, and engage with members on the club floor to support their goals and uphold the Judgement Free Zone.

You will also promote a welcoming environment, perform tours for prospective members, welcome guests, and help keep the club clean and well-maintained to ensure an excellent member experience.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally certified training certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including Orientation and DYOP.
• Engage with members on the club floor to support fitness goals and safety.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone and assist members while upholding policies.
• Perform routine checks of all fitness areas for a great member experience.
• Make prospective member calls and tours to assess needs and offer trainer services.
• Assist with greetings, inquiries, and ensure cleanliness of equipment and facilities.
