Job summary

United FP (Planet Fitness) in Latrobe, PA is seeking a Fitness Trainer to energize members and lead PE@PF classes. You will design simple workouts for all ages, help members reach fitness goals, and maintain a clean, safe gym environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and knowledge of fitness equipment. Bilingual Spanish helpful; bilingual ability is valued in a diverse member base.

Qualifications

• Current National Training Certification (ACE / NASM / ISSA / ACSM / NSCA or similar).
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and safe operation for a variety of users.
• 1–3 years in health, fitness or wellness-related field with training or education.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification current.
• Studies in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field.
• English language proficiency; Spanish helpful for bilingual interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planet Fitness PE@PF group fitness program and design simple workouts for all ages.
• Help members achieve fitness goals with energetic, positive guidance.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs to keep gear ready for use.
• Keep the club clean and uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Design personalized workout programs matching members’ fitness levels.
• Recruit new and current members to join fitness classes.
• Promote safety and gym policies to ensure a judgment-free environment.
• Be a leader dedicated to self-improvement and team growth.
