Job summary

Diocese of Joliet Catholic Elementary Schools in New Lenox, IL, seeks a part-time Lunch/Recess Monitor to support students during lunch and recess. The role focuses on safety, order, and teaching indoor voices, table manners, and a welcoming lunch environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Food handling certificate preferred.
• Previous experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication skills essential when supervising young children.
• Practicing Catholic preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen and cafeteria.
• Light lifting.
• Assist in disposing of lunch trash.
• Supervise students during lunch with teachers.
