Job summary

7th Street Burger in Baltimore is hiring both part-time and full-time cashiers who will greet customers, enter orders into the POS, handle payments, and keep the counter clean. As the face of the shop, you’ll help move lines quickly and maintain energy during busy shifts.

We offer $16.00 per hour plus tips, weekly pay, medical benefits for full-time staff, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow from within as the brand expands.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.
