Job summary

Carolina Ale House in Greenville, SC is seeking experienced bartenders to join our team. The role involves providing menu knowledge, crafting cocktails, and delivering a welcoming bar experience. Open interviews run Tuesday through Friday from 2pm to 4pm.

Ideal candidates bring bartending or related customer service experience, a strong customer-service mindset, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. SC Server License required; tuition reimbursement and other benefits may be offered.

Qualifications

• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
• Previous bartender or similar customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and ability to exceed expectations.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced bar.
• Positive, cooperative attitude toward teamwork.
• Proficiency in mixing cocktails and drink presentation.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
• Meets legal age to serve alcohol.
• South Carolina Server License through the Department of Revenue.

Responsibilities

• Provide menu knowledge and suggest drink options to guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Comply with alcohol service laws and regulations to ensure responsible consumption.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary to ensure safety.
• Engage with guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere at the bar.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Maintain a clean and adequately stocked bar area.
• Additional duties as assigned.
