Job summary

Oliver Wyman seeks a seasoned technologist to drive Endur/JVS and OpenComponents development within the energy trading space. You will partner with clients to design, configure, and extend solutions, leveraging SQL, Java, C#, and .NET to deliver robust architectures.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in commodities consulting or vendor roles, deep Endur knowledge, and strong communication to translate business needs into technical strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commodities industry, consulting, or vendor experience
• Understanding of energy supply, trading, and risk management
• Basic understanding of options valuation and VaR methodologies
• Ability to structure and organize complex problems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivation to develop and follow programming standards

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to evaluate challenges and discuss technical solutions
• Lead discussions on client technology ecosystems and solution designs
• Share best practices for overall architectural designs and client conversations
• Configure and extend applications to meet business needs
• Design and build architectures for data capture for reporting, analysis and integration
• Create cloud-based environments to enable project delivery and production management
