Job summary

State Corporation Commission (SCC) is seeking an IT Security Analyst 3 to support enterprise software deployment, patching, and endpoint hardening in a hybrid model. The role focuses on deploying updates via Intune and MECM/SCCM, monitoring vulnerability data, and coordinating with security and IT teams to maintain a secure endpoint environment across the organization.

• Windows 11 OS expertise with monthly/annual updates.
• MS Office 365 applications with monthly updates.
• Experience with an endpoint management system.
• Proficient in workstation imaging solutions.
• Experience with service management ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to end users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deployment packages using Intune, MECM/SCCM or similar tools.
• Test compatibility and adjust configurations for diverse devices.
• Automate software deployment workflows for efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with application owners and security teams on updates and dependencies.
• Support patch management: testing, scheduling, deploying, validating updates.
• Monitor vulnerability reports and assist in remediation efforts.
• Troubleshoot deployment and endpoint configuration issues; provide root-cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation for packaging standards and change management.
• Enforce endpoint hardening policies and configuration baselines.
• Work with infrastructure, security, and service desk teams to ensure reliability.
