Job summary

IntelliBee in Richmond, VA is seeking an IT Security Analyst 3 - Endpoint Engineer to support enterprise software deployment and patching. You will review vulnerability metrics and remediate via targeted software and patch deployments, while troubleshooting failures and strengthening endpoint security.

The role emphasizes packaging, automation, documentation, and collaboration with security and IT teams to maintain a secure, compliant endpoint environment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Windows 11 administration and monthly/annual updates (required).
• Microsoft Office 365 applications and monthly updates (required).
• Experience with an Endpoint Management System (Intune/MECM) (required).
• Experience with workstation imaging solutions (required).
• Experience with a service management ticketing system (required).
• Strong analytical/problem-solving abilities (required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required).
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction (required).
• Ability to work with end users, technical staff, and senior staff, delivering exceptional customer service (required).
• Experience with PatchMyPC, GraphAPI, and ServiceNow (desired).
• Experience with PowerShell (desired).

Responsibilities

• Engineer, modify, package, and deploy COTS software across enterprise endpoints.
• Develop and maintain deployment packages using Intune and MECM/SCCM.
• Perform compatibility testing and adjust configurations for diverse devices.
• Automate software deployment workflows for consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with application owners and security teams on update requirements and risks.
• Support patch management: testing, scheduling, deploying, and validating updates.
• Monitor vulnerability reports and assist in remediation of endpoint risks.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, patching issues, and configuration problems; provide root-cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation for packaging, deployment procedures, baselines, and change management.
• Enforce endpoint hardening policies and compliance baselines; ensure high reliability and security posture.
• Evaluate new technologies and automation opportunities for endpoint management.
