Qualifications

Job Description Summary The Endpoint Security Analyst is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing endpoint security technologies across the enterprise. This role serves as an escalation resource for complex endpoint security incidents while ensuring endpoint platforms remain secure, compliant, and resilient. The analyst will work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to protect enterprise devices, improve security posture, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description Responsibilities
  • Implement, maintain, and optimize endpoint security controls across client and server environments, ensuring alignment with security frameworks and enterprise standards.
  • Serve as a third-line escalation point for complex endpoint security incidents impacting device security, compliance, or user productivity.
  • Monitor endpoint telemetry, security agent health, performance indicators, and compliance metrics to proactively identify risks and operational issues.
  • Conduct endpoint testing to evaluate endpoint impact, validate security controls, and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Diagnose and resolve endpoint-related incidents and recurring security issues using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Manage and maintain endpoint security technologies including policies, CASB, EDR, antivirus, data loss prevention (DLP), encryption solutions, compliance agents, and automated remediation tools.
  • Track security control health and coordinate remediation activities with cybersecurity teams when critical findings are identified.
  • Maintain endpoint management portals, dashboards, documentation, and knowledge repositories to support operational excellence.
  • Monitor, identify, and remediate endpoint software defects to ensure stable and secure application performance.
  • Install, test, and validate endpoint security agents, policies, and integrations in non-production environments before production deployment.
  • Review and approve access requests while enforcing least-privilege principles and organizational security standards.
  • Support audit, compliance, and governance initiatives by identifying risks, documenting findings, and assisting with remediation efforts.
Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of endpoint security technologies, including CASB, EDR, antivirus, DLP, encryption, compliance management, and endpoint protection platforms.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security architecture, lifecycle management, and security best practices.
  • Experience analyzing security telemetry, behavioral indicators, and trend data to support proactive threat mitigation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint, application, and operating system layers.
  • Experience working with EDR, SIEM, MDM, compliance platforms, and enterprise security management tools.
  • Ability to correlate data from multiple sources to identify risks and recommend actionable remediation plans.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, metrics, and executive summaries related to security posture and endpoint health.
  • Commitment to continuous learning through certifications, training, and industry best practices.
Education Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, and five (5+) years of relevant experience in endpoint security, cybersecurity operations, systems administration, or a related technical field. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience totaling five or more years in an enterprise environment will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, Sky High, SentinelOne, Tanium, Ivanti, or comparable endpoint security platforms.
  • Security-related certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, GIAC, Microsoft Security Certifications, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale endpoint environments in highly regulated industries.
