Job summary

CACI seeks an experienced Endpoint Engineer - InTune for a role supporting a DHS contract. You will lead Intune/Endpoint Manager, automate deployments, and bridge on‑premises with cloud environments while meeting federal security standards.

The position emphasizes hands‑on engineering and strategic leadership within a security‑driven setting. You will mentor engineers, design cloud‑native solutions, and ensure operations align with SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 13 years of applicable experience (equivalencies: 19 years no degree, AA + 15 years, MA + 10 years)
• Minimum 5+ years SCCM experience supporting software packaging and patching
• Minimum 5+ years Intune AutoPilot administration experience
• Strong working knowledge of SCCM and Intune including device enrollment, policy management, application deployment, compliance enforcement, and conditional access
• Solid understanding of VMware vCenter virtualization platform
• Functional understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Active Directory
• Expertise in MDT and SCCM: capturing images (.WIM), creating packages, advertisements, task sequences, operating system deployment (OSD), and queries
• Solid knowledge of PowerShell scripting to automate tasking and customize configurations
• Expertise with IAVA process including CYBERCOM release process, testing, approval, and deployment processes

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft Intune administration and engineering, including policy creation and management, application deployment, device compliance, and conditional access configurations
• Implement and manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune + SCCM) for comprehensive endpoint management
• Manage device enrollment, policy management, application deployment, compliance enforcement, and conditional access across the enterprise
• Administer InTune AutoPilot for modern device provisioning and deployment
• Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions leveraging Azure AD and on-premises Active Directory for seamless identity management

• Develop and maintain Azure-based system templates and images for rapid deployment

• Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems with both short-term workarounds and long-term cloud-based solutions

Overview:

CACI seeks an experienced Endpoint Engineer - InTune for a critical role supporting the United States Secret Service (USSS) contract within the Department of Homeland Security. This position strengthens federal IT infrastructure by leading modern endpoint management, cloud integration, and security automation across enterprise systems serving national security missions.

You will be part of a dynamic team of Systems and Desktop Engineers and security specialists, driving the administration and evolution of Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Azure-based endpoint solutions. As a technical leader, you'll bridge on-premises and cloud environments—implementing hybrid identity solutions, automating deployments, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards while maintaining operational excellence.

This role combines hands‑on technical engineering (Intune policy management, application deployment, device compliance, scripting automation) with strategic leadership (designing cloud-native solutions, mentoring junior engineers, driving adoption of emerging technologies). Working across endpoint management and server operations teams, you’ll ensure adherence to customer SLAs, accelerate deployment cycles through automation, and reduce operational workload by implementing modern cloud‑based management solutions.
