Job summary

VC Stack is looking for a Director in Santa Clara to manage a $1.6 billion endowment alongside a team of investment professionals. The role requires in-depth involvement in selecting, monitoring, and evaluating investment managers across multiple asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of investment experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or CFA preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of investment experience allocating assets among managers.
• Experience selecting, monitoring, and building relationships with investment managers.
• Working knowledge of all asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active involvement with assigned investments.
• Review and evaluate potential investments.
• Write clear and concise independent investment recommendations.
• Prepare standardized reports on investments.
• Represent the Investment Office and University.
• Assist with team mentorship and training.
• Provide research and analytical support as needed.
