Job summary

Boston College’s Theology Department invites applications for the Maureen and Craig Sullivan University Professorship, an inaugural endowed chair recognizing excellence in Catholic theology and offering tenure at the rank of full Professor.

The holder will teach two courses in one semester and one course in the other, advise graduate and undergraduate students, and participate fully in department life. The expected 9‑month base salary is $200,000-$250,000, paid over 12 months.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required with scholarly expertise in Catholic theology
• Open to systematic theology or theological ethics, or history of Christianity
• Distinguished record of publications and teaching commensurate with full Professor with tenure

Responsibilities
