Job summary

NYU Langone Health’s Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Care seeks a Clinician Scientist for an Endowed Professorship with an administrative appointment as Associate Director, Research at the Associate or Full Professor level. The investigator will lead an extramurally-funded aging research program, develop novel areas of inquiry, and mentor junior researchers across NYU Langone Health.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD required; board certification in Geriatrics and/or Palliative Care preferred.
• Strong record of extramurally funded independent research.
• Sustained scholarly productivity and ambitious, innovative thinking in aging.

Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop an extramurally-funded aging research program.
• Develop a novel area of inquiry and advance the Freedman Research Center on Aging, Technology, and Cognitive Health (CATCH).
• Mentor junior research faculty and fellows; foster collaborations across NYU Langone Health.
• Contribute to division growth and cross-institutional research initiatives.
