Job summary

Mercy Neurosurgery at Mercy Hospital South seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join a high-performing team in St. Louis. The role blends complex stroke care with program growth across a comprehensive neurointerventional service.

You will work with experienced colleagues in a modern endovascular suite, participate in leadership activities, and benefit from a robust referral network and strong infrastructure. PSLF eligibility and visa sponsorship are available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible neurosurgeon specializing in endovascular techniques.
• Experience with high-volume thrombectomy and cerebrovascular disease management is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary stroke teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead endovascular-focused practice within a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Manage a full spectrum of acute ischemic stroke and complex cerebrovascular disease.
• Grow program through leadership, Protocol development, and system-wide initiatives.
• Support a high-volume ED with strong case flow and referral network.

Mercy Neurosurgery is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join a growing, high-performing team at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. This is a unique opportunity to join a Comprehensive Stroke Center with strong infrastructure, high clinical demand, and the support to expand a premier neurointerventional program.

Position Highlights

• Endovascular-focused practice with opportunity to grow and shape a high-volume thrombectomy and neurointerventional service
• Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center with established protocols and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Manage a full spectrum of acute ischemic stroke and complex cerebrovascular disease
• High-volume ED (~85,000 visits annually) and robust referral network driving strong case flow
• Opportunity for program development, leadership, and system-wide impact
