Job summary

Banner – University Medical Group Phoenix seeks a BC/BE Urologist with a special interest in Endourology to join our Department of Urology. This academic role involves patient care, research, and education in a leading health system.

The candidate will contribute to building a residency program and lead clinical protocols while collaborating with Banner University Medical Center Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Urology.
• Subspecialty Fellowship in Endourology (1-2 years).
• Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure (or eligible).
• DEA license with current prescribing privileges (or eligible).
• Expertise in laser technology and advanced imaging.
• Proficiency in complex endoscopic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Clinical duties: Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases, and shared call coverage.
• Subspecialty focus on minimally invasive endoscopic procedures.
• Handle upper urinary tract pathology and complex stone disease.
• Perform ureteroscopy, RIRS, PCNL, and novel BPH treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical duties: Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, OR cases, and shared call coverage

• Advanced stone disease management
• Procedures include, but are not limited to: Ureteroscopy, retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), and novel BPH treatments

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Urology
• Subspecialty Fellowship in Endourology (1-2 years)
• Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure (or eligible to receive)
• DEA license with current prescribing privileges (or eligible to receive)
• Expertise in laser technology and advanced imaging
• Proficiency in complex endoscopic techniques

Work Schedule: Full-Time; Monday – Friday + shared call coverage (opportunity for additional paid call)
