Baptist Health (Jacksonville) is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support the Endoscopy Team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This full-time days role (40 hours/week) includes call duties and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

The role involves maintaining a sterile field, anticipating surgeon needs, passing instruments, and ensuring patient safety during procedures in the Endoscopy unit. High School Diploma and BLS are required; CST certification preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• CST certification preferred NBSTA or NCCT.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, organize and maintain a sterile field for operative procedures.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs and progression of the case and prepare accordingly.
• Proper disposition of specimens and instruments.
• Work with the surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety.
• Call is required for this position.
