HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for PRN shifts to support GI and endoscopy procedures. You will prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies, assist during procedures, handle instruments, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, specimen handling, equipment disinfection, and maintaining clear records. PRN hours and a supportive team environment offered.

Formación

• 1 year of experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized
• Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself
• Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety
• Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care
