Atlantic Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician in Morristown, NJ to assist physicians and nurses during procedures, prepare patients, maintain sterile fields, monitor status, and support pediatric and adult patients.

You will clean and disinfect endoscopy equipment, operate washers, document in scope diary, assist with room setup, restock supplies, and participate in safety and quality initiatives. On-call scope washing may be required, and strong teamwork is essential.

Responsabilidades

• assists with all types of procedures utilizing equipment, scope accessories, and therapeutic interventions.
• maintains sterile field and adheres to surgical standards.
• performs high level disinfection and operates endoscopy washers.
• documents in scope diary and tracks endoscope pathway from procedure to disinfection.
• prepares procedure rooms, restocks supplies, and maintains room cleanliness.
• tests and troubleshoots equipment, scopes, and accessories.
• ensures patient safety, verifies patient identity and procedure type, and provides emotional support.
