Job summary

Grandview Medical Center – Birmingham, AL is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support high-quality patient care during endoscopic procedures. You will prepare rooms, maintain equipment, and ensure proper inventory and documentation under RN supervision.

The role requires knowledge of endoscopy and disinfection, with 0–2 years of healthcare experience and 1–3 years endoscopy experience preferred; licensure/certification reimbursements and generous benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment maintenance, and disinfection.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
• Ability to anticipate procedural needs and respond effectively to physician and team requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares procedure rooms and ensures proper setup of equipment, instruments, and supplies for each endoscopic procedure.
• Assists procedural teams by anticipating the needs of the physician and supporting patient positioning during procedures.
• Cleans, decontaminates, and performs high-level disinfection of endoscopic equipment according to guidelines.
