Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of acute care experience in a patient care related position.
• Successful completion of Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician Program and appropriate certification based on program completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-specific patient care under the direction of a licensed practitioner or RN.
• Follow plan of care and unit policy/procedure; provide emotional support and problem solving within scope of practice.
