Job summary

USPI Capital City Surgery Center of Florida in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to support the endoscopy team and ensure smooth outpatient procedures.

The role involves arranging sterile setups, passing items, assisting in patient preparation, and cleaning the endoscopy room. You will manage inventory and work under the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in an established endoscopy center.
• Working knowledge of standard Gastroenterology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist endoscopy team during procedures and pass items as needed.

USPI Capital City Surgery Center of Florida located in Tallahassee, Florida, is an advanced technology Endoscopy Suite specializing in the examination of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. Procedures are done in a comfortable outpatient setting, designed with high quality of care, safety and patient privacy and convenience in mind.

Job Summary: The Endoscopy Tech assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. The tech also stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures. This position reports to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.
