Job summary

Novant Health in Summerville, SC seeks an Endoscopy Technologist to support patient care under Physicians and Registered Nurses. You will assist with adult and pediatric procedures and ensure comfort and safety throughout the endoscopy process.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least two years of endoscopy experience, and Endoscopy Technician Certification within one year of hire (certification preferred).

An Endoscopy Technologist, under the direction of Physicians and Registered Nurses, assists with patient care and related services. What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: Minimum of two years endoscopy experience, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Endoscopy Technician Certification, preferred. Endoscopy Technician Certification required within one year of hire.
• Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient (s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of medical terminology.
