Intermountain Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician I to assist with routine endoscopic procedures under RN supervision. This entry-level role emphasizes safety, equipment setup, and effective turnover in diverse facility settings.
The position requires BLS and a HS diploma, with duties including patient care, specimen handling, and collaboration with the Endoscopy Lab team. On-call weekends are required, with PRN scheduling and orientation periods.
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Endoscopy Technician I (ET I) supports basic, diagnostic and/or therapeutic endoscopic procedures at rural, community, large and trauma facilities. This entry‑level role ensures safe and effective care during procedures such as Colonoscopy, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Tracheostomy/Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Placement, Enteroscopy, basic Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT), Food Impaction Removal, Bravo Capsule Placement, and EndoFLIP. Interventions may include polypectomy, biopsy, dilation, cauterization, variceal banding, stent placement, overtube use, foreign body removal, and Hemospray application for GI bleeding.
The ET I may be required to take independent call and assist with urgent or emergent cases.
This role contributes to system‑wide Surgical Services initiatives and actively participates in the Endoscopy Team Safety Plan.
Pay Ranges: $19.50 - $26.48/hour (Level I) (depending on experience). $20.07 - $28.59/hour (Level II) (depending on experience)

Shift Details: PRN/As Needed. Variable. During orientation, Monday - Friday. After orientation, as needed based on staffing needs
