Gulf Comprehensive Surgery Center is actively seeking an Endoscopy Technician on a per diem basis in Florida. The role supports surgeons during endoscopic procedures, assists with instrument handling and patient flow, and helps maintain a safe, efficient outpatient environment.
Responsibilities include cleaning and sterilizing endoscopes, stocking rooms, and performing clerical tasks as needed. Candidates should have a GI lab background, a high school diploma, and current BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Procedures are done in a comfortable outpatient setting, designed with high quality of care, safety and patient privacy and convenience in mind.
The GI technician/Endoscopy functions under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide the optimal conditions in achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation. Other GI technician responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, room turnover. Stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies and performing a variety of clerical duties.
