Job summary

MNGI Digestive Health in Eagan is seeking an Endoscopy Support role to assist with room turnover, scope prep, and instrument sterilization. You will aid nursing staff and physicians while maintaining strict infection prevention standards.

The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and proactive problem solving in a clinical setting. Training provided as needed, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with equipment cleaning and reprocessing or Sterile Processing Technician preferred but not required.
• Strong infection prevention and patient care mindset.

Responsibilities

• Turn around procedure rooms: set up and take down.
• Trouble shoot endoscopes in the procedure room as needed.
• Clean and high level disinfect endoscopes.
• Clean, high level disinfect or sterilize accessory equipment.
• Stock supplies for the Endoscopy Center and order as needed.
• Prepare scope for transport.
• Assist nursing staff and physicians as needed.
• Operate and maintain endoscopy equipment as directed.
• Follow infection prevention processes and document as needed.

• Location: MNGI Digestive Health Eagan Location
• Salary Range: Starting range $20.28-23.32we/hour (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience & education)

Key Responsibilities

• Turn around procedure rooms: set up and take down

• Assist nursing staff and physicians as needed
• Operation and maintenance of endoscopy equipment as directed
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
• Understand and follow infection prevention processes
• Documentation as necessary in appropriate log sheets

Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to walk, sit, stand, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
