Job summary

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support GI procedures in a high-volume hospital setting. You will prepare rooms and equipment, assist during procedures, transport patients safely, and maintain sterile environments to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include instrument handling, specimen collection, and strict adherence to safety protocols while communicating with patients and families with empathy and privacy.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verify equipment is in proper working order and keep supplies stocked.
• Position and transport patients safely using proper body mechanics.
• Assist physicians and nurses during procedures, handle instruments and specimens, follow safety practices.
• Disinfect, sterilize endoscopy equipment and maintain accurate quality records.
• Communicate with patients and families with kindness, protecting privacy and comfort.
